Uncanny X-Force #2 Review

Tagged with: Uncanny X-Force  X-MenUncanny X-Force #2

This is one non stop thrill ride that I don’t want to get off of. Today I will be reviewing Uncanny X-Force #2. Please leave a comment to let me know what you think.

So let’s talk about the book. X-Force prepares to attack Apocalypse’s base which is located on the blue area of the moon. Too bad Apocalypse, who is being brainwashed by his people to become the “savior” pf mutantkind, is ready for them. A vicious battle erupts as the Final Horsemen engage X-Force and totally wipes the floor with them. Apocalypse must now decide their fate. And that’s the book.

So let’s talk opinions. So Apocalypse is back. And he has a new set of Horsemen for protection. And these guys kick serious ass. (Too bad three of their opponents regenerate, One is a telepath, and the other is Archangel, a former Horseman. (So is Wolverine for that matter.) I’m sure X-Force will issue some serious payback next issue. Artistically, I am really enjoying the colors on this book. All of these blues and purples are really making this book stand out in my mind. I’ve never really payed attention to colors in a comic but the ones here are very memorable. I love Deadpool. He’s so much fun on this team and the added humor factor is really making this book much more fun to read. I don’t know whether I like Apocalypse’s new form just yet. I really need to see him in action and not just a background player. I like the whole contingency planning on Wolverine’s part. He’s not a bad strategist himself when he wants to be. This book is beginning to be my #1 mutant book to read. I can’t wait to see what’s next. That’s my opinion folks. Take it or leave it.
