So let’s talk about the book. Hulk and Red She-Hulk are battling the stone colossus created by Tyrranus. After Hulk is batted away, Red goes to him and transforms back into Betty. The two reunite and declare their love for each other. Hulk, however, instead of leaving, goes to save Rome from Tyrranus. After he smashes his toy, Tyrranus breaks Pandora’s Box and unleashes the hope entity within it. Using his wits, Banner manages to absorb the entity and save everyone. Too bad it costs him Betty who turns back into Red She-Hulk and leaves with Tyrranus. And that’s the book.
So let’s talk opinions. This was an amazing issue and a great story arc and I’m sad to see it end. We really got to see some nice Hulk smashing action in these issues as well as some good emotional storytelling. When Betty and Bruce finally got together, only to lose each other again because of the Hulk, it really makes you understand just how sad the Hulk’s life is. He can never get what he wants because the Hulk, in one way or another, will be there to take it away from him. Story of his life, but I digress. Back to this issue. The action was once again hot and heavy. I love Cho and his sarcastic witticisms. I thought the way Banner dealt with the Hope entity was pretty cool. Does that mean the entity is now part of the Hulk? Is Hulk now the beacon of Hope? Will that be used to beat the Worthy in Fear Itself? (Hope does beat Fear every time) Once again, the art was excellent. Lots of big panels and huge, in your face, action scenes. (Still not happy with Hulk’s face though. We really need to improve on that.) Also, the stone colossus looked pretty cool too. A great issue in general. Keep up the great work. That’s my opinion folks. Take it or leave it.
