So let’s talk about the book. Deadpool is dreaming about his impending fatherhood when Inez/Domino’s mind snaps. She heads into the bathroom and removes a toy baby from her stomach that she had been hiding there. She gives the baby to Deadpool and leaves. Wade takes care of it as if it was real. When she returns, she asks Wade for help in cleaning up a murder spree that she has been on. Wade agrees and then stages an intervention to snap Inez back into reality. Then he has her committed and decides to go back to killing for a living. And that’s the book.
So let’s talk opinions. OK. I’m out again. This issue was complete and utter nonsense. It lost at least 50 brain cells to ritual suicide by the time I was done reading. So Wade raised a doll for two days. Inez has multiple personality disorder and daddy issues. Big deal. That was beyond unrealistic. I don’t care how insane Wade is, this whole lack of reality thing is pathetic. What plot progression occurred? OK so Wade is no longer married and a dad. Then he makes Inez accept the baby as real. Get the Fuck out of here. (Look I used a curse word better then the writer could in the entire issue) Then he starts killing random bad guys. Everything is just too pathetic to be accepted as thought out. As for the art, I don’t even want to get into it. Same jumbled weird looking misshapen garbage that we have been dealing with this entire series. Wade looks like the Toxic Avenger when he has no costume on. Inez’s face keeps changing every panel. (And getting uglier with each change) The toy baby’s face keeps changing. (It’s a toy for god’s sake, why would it change it’s expressions?) Overall, I am beyond pissed at this title. Marvel missed the boat completely by not allowing the writers to write a gritty, foul-mouthed Deadpool killing and torturing lots of bad guys. Instead we get a waste of a mind fuck. (look, that’s twice.) Deadpool Team-Up is canceled but this shit is still around? Whatever. That’s my opinion folks. Take it or leave it.
