Wolvie finally cuts loose. Today I will be reviewing Wolverine The Best There Is #5 . Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
So let’s talk about the book. After suffering some more, Wolverine is almost done. That is until the kid he is trying to safe talks to him and makes him realize he is being played. Finally getting pissed, Wolverine cuts loose on his captors and begins extracting some justice, one blood slashing claw thrust at a time. And that’s the book.
So let’s talk opinions. So once again we are greeted to decent art. Other than the black blood, which is still driving me crazy, it captured the violence and action quite well. Also, we finally have some plot movement. Wolverine finally cuts loose. I’m very happy with the way he beat the vampire and the life drainer. That was extremely clever. The kid pretty much had the best lines in the issue. Also, once again, why are the curse words being covered by symbols? Its a parental warning book. You can say dirty words without repercussion. At least we didn’t have to listen to Windsor blab endlessly about life and philosophy. I hope this arc ends soon and we get some better writing because so far, this title is rubbing me the wrong way. The best there is. Ha. At what? Getting mind screwed and tortured? He’s definitely the best at that. That’s my opinion folks. Take it or leave it.
